DockATot La Maman Wedge Nursing Pillow - Indigo Chambray

I receieved this pillow to review for Stellar Product Testing Panel. I do not breastfeed but used to pillow a lot for under arm support when holding baby. It was great! I love that it's not as big and bulky as a boppy. We have also used it to prop baby up on for tummy time. I love how it looks and the pattern options. Sometimes the little tassel can get in the way but it's cute so that's okay. I do wish the cover was removable for washing.

I received this nursing pillow from the Stellar Product Panel and upon opening it, I was beyond excited to try it. As an interior designer most baby items don�t fall into a category that blend well with your home and function for baby and mom. This one does the trick! The chambray color I received is beautiful sitting out in my home, because nursing a baby is an all day and night job and so it�s always out. Secondly the tassel on it is adorable. Now for function I love the shape and size of this pillow, I�ve tried two other brands and eventually gave up using them. This size and shape ergonomically fits me to a tee! It could definitely be used for some many different things, I used it for tummy time, feeding time and even propping up behind them as they are sitting up on their own. I�m a mom of 4, ages 8 years to 9 months. I�ve nursed all my babies, and I�ve had increasingly painful issues with my neck and lower back from hunching over while nursing. I�ve tried stacking other nursing pillows and using a couple different brands together to lift my baby high enough to keep me from slouching over, all with moderate success. With all this in mind, suffice it to say I was skeptical of this new nursing pillow. Very skeptical. I was impressed with the firmness of this pillow. It supports my 17 pound baby and props him higher than a more common nursing pillow I�ve used. I like how one end is thicker, and therefore creates an inclined surface for my baby to lie on. Since this pillow is shorter in length, I can move it from side to side to customize the height and rotational position of my baby�s head in relation to my torso. I�m surprised how much I like this and how often I reach for it (just about every time we nurse.) As far as style goes, I can see that this company was trying something new in the world of nursing pillows. I was sent the Indigo cover, which is a clean, classic, machine washable cover. (I�d recommend hand washing the tassel separately.) In the name of thorough research, I checked out the other cover options at my local baby emporium, and the velour cover material and prints are to die for. If given the option, I would have gladly paid the extra few dollars for this upgrade. (PLEASE, Dockatot, sell extra covers separately!!) The cover of this pillow is easy to take off, due to its shape. The chambray shows drips and stains more easily than a pattern would (I�m guessing), but the material machine washes nicely and dries quickly. I�ve found myself plopping this pillow on my lap, even when I�m not nursing. It�s great for propping up a book or a plate of food while watching TV on the couch. It�s definitely an interesting enough pillow to keep out on the couch. Considering my personal style, no one would bat an eye at me having a vaguely moon shaped pillow with a tassel on display in my living room (especially in the blue fern or strawberry thief prints!) I�ll be on the lookout for covers sold separately in the future. I�m very glad that the Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me this for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

As a mom of 7 kids ages 10 and under, I have tried a myriad of nursing pillows and while all have been able to support my arm and baby, they always seem to be lacking something or they were too bulky or too firm or soft. This nursing pillow met all of my needs seamlessly! It is the exact firmness to be supportive yet still supple. It is stylish and blends with our decor with its streamlined shape, neutral fabric (denim), and exquisite stitching detailing. I used this pillow primarily on our family room when nursing and it was easy to leave out as decor when not in use without getting in the way. My older kids loved to use it as a neck pillow while watching movies! For the baby, I used it mostly for nursing but it was also very useful for tummy time with our preemie who needed extra support. I love how the pillow was easy to tuck under either arm and how the wedge shape allowed me to adjust the thickness if I was sitting in a different position by just flipping it around to the narrower or thicker side. The fabric wipes off easily and doesn�t show wear and tear- from my toddlers jelly fingers to spilled milk! It�s also small enough to travel with easily - we took it on vacation to the beach and used it as a car pillow, nursing pillow in hotels, and my main nursing pillow while on vacation and I�ve never used a nursing pillow that was so easy to adjust, comfortable for my arm, the correct thickness/softness, and easy to clean. Overall, I wish I had this pillow while nursing my 6 previous babies too! Thank you for letting me try out this awesome product, Stellar Product Testing Panel!

I have been using the DockATot La Mama Wedge Nursing Pillow Nursing Pillow for about a month with my 4 month old and I have really enjoyed it. I love that it is made from beautiful fabric that is very aesthetically pleasing, so I do not feel like I have to put it away when I am cleaning up the house or having company over. It is gorgeous and blends in well with our decor. I love that the cover is removable and made from quality, machine washable fabric. I love the shape and fullness of the pillow. It allows you to feel very supported without having to bend over. I have had issues with other nursing pillows not being stuffed full enough, which led to having to bend over further and resulted in a hurt back. My favorite feature of this pillow is that it can be used for multiple purposes. I have been using it as a way to prop my son up during tummy time and it helps to support him and make him more comfortable. I am so excited about my new DockATot Wedge Pillow. Not only did I feel super supported while nursing my son, it�s SO cute!! My son is in the 90th percentile for weight and height so it can sometimes be hard to feel supported while nursing such a large 11th month old. However, this helps me, and also gives my son a comfy place to lay while he nurses. I am very picky with my baby items and the fabric on the pillow is neutral in color, and such high quality. I use it as a decor pillow when i�m not nursing and also my son will lay on it and play with it as well! I think the tassle is super adorable and gives it such a cute design. This pillow is timeless, and you can find so many ways to use the pillow when your nursing journey is done. My favorite part about the pillow is how comfortable it is, provides a ton of great support, and I love the look of it. This pillow is functional and versatile! The irregular-bean-like shape allows me to nurse in different locations more comfortably. When I�m in bed sitting cross legged or legs out straight, I like the wider end under my arm towards my back and the more narrow side under baby. If I�m in a chair, the wider side under baby is more comfortable. I used to nurse in the middle of the night with my leg bent awkwardly to try and help support. This pillow has been a dream for night feeds. I�ve tried other nursing pillows but their shape limited the places I could comfortably use it. The pillow also doesn�t look like a nursing pillow. Which is such a nice change in a house filled with baby things. It looks like a throw pillow but IYKYK We�ve used this pillow to prop baby and for tummy time. She loves playing with the adorable tassel and running her fingers through it. The handle blends in but allows you to carry one handed which is crucial when already carrying a baby. Lastly, the cover is machine washable because nursing accidents happen. I highly recommend! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this Nursing Pillow.

Perfect Nursing Pillow! While I like the Boppy, it just wasn't working out for me & my baby in all situations. We use our Deluxe+ Dock-a-Tot all the time, so I was lurking on the website and found the wedge! It's been a total life-save (or arm, shoulder & neck saver) because it's the perfect size and shape for the main chair I nurse in. And it doesn't hurt that it's beautiful to look at!

Comfortable & Chic! I bought this pillow for my daughter and she loves it! She tried many nursing pillows before this and nothing worked for her. This pillow is comfortable and beautiful to display in any room of the house. Love the quality of dockatot products and the great customer service!

I love the shape of this nursing pillow because it's more of a wedge than a pillow that goes all around you. It really lets you prop up baby in a position that's also comfortable for you. Probably a good option if you had a c-section too because it doesn't wrap. The fabric is also to die for. Honestly, you can't even compare the lux feeling to anything else on the market.
