The award-winning DockATot baby nest is an everyday parenting must-have! Since the DockATot can be used in so many ways, a Spare Cover is a handy accessory to keep your DockATot baby lounger clean and in daily action both at home and on-the-go.

When placing baby in the Deluxe+ Dock, baby should be placed on their back, with their head towards the top/head end of the dock and feet towards the buckled end. Baby should be positioned more towards the foot end of the dock with the buckle closed as this will give the baby a comforting sense of reassurance by feeling the closed tube with their feet. It also prevents the baby from wiggling downwards. As required, the buckles can be unclipped once they outgrow the closed length of the Deluxe+ Dock.

Q.  Do I need a spare cover?

A.  While you don’t need a spare cover to be able to use our Docks (as the assembled Docks do come with a cover already fitted and ready to go), a lot of people do find having a spare cover very useful. With a spare cover, you can have one cover on your Dock while the other is in the wash. We find that it can be very helpful to have a spare cover available for those moments when a spot clean just doesn’t cut it!

Q.  How do I change my Dock cover?

A.  Changing the cover on your Dock is actually a lot simpler than many people think! The first step is to unzip and remove the cover from the Dock side tube and mattress pad – there are two zips that will need to be opened for this. A good tip for the zips is to place one of your fingers on the underside of the zipper between the zip and the inner side tubing to ensure that the zip does not catch or damage these parts. Once everything is unzipped, simply remove the side tubing and mattress pad.

To fit the cover back on, start with putting your mattress pad back in the base of your cover. Going slowly and ensuring that the mattress pad is flat once in place, and smoothing out any bumps or folds, will help to ensure that the pad stays nice and flat for bub to lay on. Once the pad is in place, rezip this section (don’t forget the handy zipper tip above!).

The next step is to slide the side tube into the cover. Position your side tube in the cover and start at one end, ensuring that the ends of the side tube are pushed into the ends of the cover as you go. Going slowly here will give you time to reposition the tubing as you go if required.

Once the cover is back in place, you can reshape the sides as required by moving the tubing around within the cover and smoothing and fluffing as desired.

Q.  Why are the covers so small?

A.  Great question! The covers are designed to create a sturdy and firm dock, and to do this, they need to be quite fitted. The tube sides of the Dock need to be firm enough to prevent bub from rolling out, and to provide good support during tummy time, and the fitted covers help to provide this support to the tubing.

Machine wash warm, and hang to line dry. Wash with similar colours. Wash in garment bag for protection. Unless otherwise directed on care label, do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not bleach, do not dry clean

Returns

We offer change of mind returns for eligible products within 14 days of receipt of goods, for Australian orders. Please note that a $25 restocking fee will be deducted for all customer returns.

Exchanges/store credits/refunds are not eligible for sale items (this includes sales run using discount codes, and sales with marked discounts on our website).

Due to the high customs and freight charges we absorb when sending orders to NZ, it is not possible to accept returns or exchanges due to change of mind from NZ. This does not apply to faulty products.
